YAMAHA PROJECT COMPLETED!

 (Before) Drums were dirty, chrome was pitted, drums had scratches and dents.

(After) Drums sanded, scratches smoothed out, re-stained to red; chrome detailed-cleaned!
Also replaced some damaged-beyond-repair hoops, and fixed some tidbits to give this
kit a 2nd life! The kit looks amazingly better than I had hoped for!

OH YEAH...

Another project I plan to work on in 2011, is this 1960's era Gretsch kit, complete
with a 13" rack tom, 16" floor tom, 20" bass drum and a 14"x5" snare!
~~~
Definately going to re-wrap this kit and make it workable again, so later on
down the line when I want to start some groovy jazz band, I'll be equipped!
YAMAHA PROGRESS PICS!
1 of 2 bass drums completed, with replacement wood hoop!
My signature/stencil inside the drums!
Sorry for the late "official 1st entry" on this blog, just been busy with outside priorities,
thus delaying in getting anything done on my friend's Yamaha kit, but now I have some
pics to show off the progress I've been making! More finished pics to come!!!
